ANCHOR CREW BRIEFING:

  • Objective: Every tower has a fixed height and a fixed-length cable already cut for it. Your job is to drag the anchor point along the cliffside track to the exact spot where that cable would pull perfectly taut. Use a² + b² = c² to work out the distance before you drag.
  • No multiple choice: Drag the anchor handle (or nudge it with the ± buttons), watch the live cable-length readout, and press LOCK ANCHOR when you think it's exact. Too close and the cable droops with slack; too far and it over-tensions and sparks.
  • Structural Stability: You begin with 3 Stability points. Each mis-locked anchor drains 1 point. Lose all 3 and the crossing is condemned.
  • Mix of Problems: Some towers give you the tower height and cable length and hide the horizontal span; others give you the span and cable length and hide the tower height — either way, you're solving for the missing leg by dragging. A few answers are exact whole meters, others need 1 decimal place of precision.
  • Randomization: Anchor points are pulled from a larger data bank and shuffled every session.
